New Classroom Furniture and Modern Learning Concepts

A few years ago, Aerofoil Design were contacted by a team of educational specialists to discuss the William Edwards project and they shared their vision for their furniture requirement.

William Edwards School is a forward looking, modern school with strong a sporting ethos. Their vision and willingness to try new concepts has helped the school to receive strong reviews from Ofsted and they have been rated as outstanding.

After discussing various ideas and options, Aerofoil Design submitted the idea of using mobile tilt top tables which can be configured to suit the classroom layout on any particular day. This was seen as an excellent solution and it was agreed to furnish about four clasrooms as a trial. They were combined with ergonomic OnePiece chairs

The trial was very successful and Aerofoil Design have since supplied around 1000 mobile tilt top tables as the school continued to invest in this modern teaching concept.

Classroom Tables In Circular Arrangement

T41 classroom tables are mobile and can easily be moved by school children, by lifting the front and wheeling them on the rear wheels.

In this situation, the 60 degree tables have been configured in a circlular arrangement.

Six T41 classroom tables are required to make a circle. Here the children have wheeled the mobile tables into place for their school lessons,

Titan One Piece Chairs

The classrooms were equipped with ergonomic one piece classroom chairs in blue. These chairs are available in different heights to suit different student age groups.

Modern Classrooms with the Latest Technology

William Edwards School invested in the lastest information technology for their classrooms, which were completed stripped out and refurbished to suit.

With iPads, Apple TV and Projectors , the students have very little use for paper in the classrooms, instead using technology to it's fullest.

Tilt Top Mobile Classroom Tables

The T41 table tops can tilt allowing the tables to be nested into each other, and stored. This allows the space to be used in other ways.
