Assmann Allvia Storagewall Cupboards
New Storage System from Assmann Buromobel GmbH
Despite the widespread use of server-based corporate networks and the comprehensive business options offered by cloud computing, printed paper still takes precedence over virtual files in offices. In fact, storage space continues to play an important role in the office.
Office furniture manufacturer Assmann is facing up to this fact and has introduced Allvia as a successor to the current cabinet system, InvitAss, with which Aerofoil Design have been extremely successful over nearly 20 years. This system offers more extensive planning potential and more fitting options.
Allvia will cover all the options currently provided by the InvitAss cabinet system range. The new concept also features a general height grid of 375 mm for each filing section and completely redesigned sliding doors and lateral roller shutter cabinets. In addition to new glass door variants, wall cabinets are now also available, which offer interesting design options as wall sideboards or wall cabinets fitted above desks.
Apart from that, many other new features have been introduced to the fittings technology. New handle and locking options, covered hinges as well as an optional 40 mm high plinth are additional features available with Allvia cabinet configurations. The optimised narrow joints ensure a clear design.
Use Of Storage Wall Cupboards To Create An Office
The use of floor to ceiling Allvia, (formerly InvitAss) storagewall units is an excellent way to create an enclosed office.
In this image, the storage wall cupboards have ash veneer doors, combined with glass door units. Above the cupboards, glazed panels allow light into the room.
The advantage of this storagewall (or storwall) solution is that the office can be dismantled and reconfigured without having to repair and reinstate walls and ceilings, as you would do with traditional partitioning systems.
Storage Wall Cupboards for a Home Study
In this Home Study environment, storagewall cupboards have been used in a combination of real beech wood veneer doors with black ash veneer carcasses. This provides an excellent contrast.
Aerofoil Design have created many stylish offices and home studies using storage wall cupboard arrangements such as this. To see examples of some completed jobs Click Here
This image shows an office that has plenty of space, but don't be misled, Allvia is even more useful in smaller rooms where every bit of space matters. We have produced storage solutions by using the furniture in ways that even Assmann may have been surprised with.
Storagewall With A Door
This image shows how an office can be formed using the Allvia storage wall cupboards, with a high quality integral door module being fitted. In this case the door is solid, but a glass door is also available.
Depending on the degree of sound privacy required, the voids and back panels can be fitted with sound absorbing material.
